Leaving for and arriving at my new home for the next few years tomorrow at 7 RAR in Adelaide. This is where real Army life begins; next step is getting an apartment with Joshy Malic and buying my Jeep.

I march out from SOI and begin my career as an actual soldier at a battalion. Last Friday was effectively the end of training after a week of security operations and Hardcorps.

Also found out that my section of nine blokes has been named Champion section which I’ll have to go accept the award for. Can’t wait to get my skippy badge and leave for Adelaide next Monday.
